About NIH SC

Who We Are

The NIH Supply Center is the Agency´s internal, not-for-profit source, focusing on Cost, Convenience, and Customer Service. We operate a warehouse that stocks online orders through iProcurement, as well as two campus stores.

What We Do

We help secure the best value for the Agency on the supplies it uses to lead the way toward important medical discoveries that improve people´s health and save lives. We just charge you the wholesale cost we pay for items and a surcharge to help cover the cost of the operation. Unlike other sources, we are a not-for-profit organization, so your dollars stay put within the Agency. We also save the Agency money by reducing P-card transaction time and expenses, shipping costs and other costs of external ordering that you may not see but really add up.

Mission

The Mission of the NIH-Supply Center is to provide innovative, cost effective, end-to-end solutions, which facilitate improved cycle times for the just-in-time delivery of quality goods and services necessary to deliver outstanding logistical support to the NIH mission, achieved through collaboration, management, and optimization of its integrated value-chain. The Supply Center strives to become a recognized leader that fosters an ethical, responsive, and highly efficient environment committed to the highest standards of professionalism, servitude, and continuous improvement that are essential to meeting and/or exceeding customers' expectations.
